Arne Boon is a researcher, designer and developer in interactive media technologies, contributing to science and arts. After finishing his Master in Interaction Design at the Utrecht School of the Arts, Arne started to follow his dream of becoming an independent artist equipped with the power of creation. “I try to make a system where things can be created. I never make content. I don’t make video or audio, but I create situations where things can be created by the public.”

After obtaining his master’s degree and refusing to apply for a job, Arne started as a freelancer, planting many seeds. He wanted to see how far he could get as a freshly graduated artist. He turned out to be rather successful, as his seeds were extremely fertile. He harvested so many requests that reaping all the crops wore him out. He decided to take a side-step and began studying Media Technology at the University of Leiden.
