‘Show Me The Data’ is an event about next level data visualization, which takes place on March 29 in Amsterdam. At FIBER Festival the crew of SMTD will pre-present the project at the DAY stage and highlight two data applications. This presentation connects with our ongoing Databooth project.

Show Me The Data 2012 will take place at the University of Amsterdam. This annual conference day forms the end result of a special master’s programme of the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and the School of Fine Arts Utrecht (HKU). Six data visualization projects will be presented, which are developed by multidisciplinary teams of international graduate students from Computer Science, New Media and Digital Culture (UvA) and Editorial Design (maHKU). Show Me The Data was co-founded by Yuri Engelhardt and Marcel Worring in 2008. Previous editions had guest speakers like Manuel Lima (Visual Complexity), Dani Aguilar (Bestiario)and Thomas Clever (Clever-Franke). The guest speakers for Show Me The Data 2012 are Alberto Cario (Visualopolis) and Jan Willem Tulp (TULP Interactive).”
